How does ordering work?

Easy as 1,2,3…order online, choose your breads and pick up location, and collect your bread in person

 

Can I buy products in person?

All financial transactions are through our website. We do not accept payments in person.

 

What payments do you accept?

Major credit cards and venmo are accepted through the website

 

Where can I get my bread?

Tuesday and Wednesday at Prism Baking, 106 Hickory Winds Ct, Forest

Thursday at Apocalypse Ale Works, 1257 Burnbridge Rd, Forest

 

What happens if I miss my pickup day/time? 

We understand that life happens. Please reach out to us as soon as you know that you cannot make your pickup time/day so that we can make other arrangements. Please note: we cannot bake a new loaf for you if you miss your pickup day. 

 

Can I bake with you?

We are planning to offer baking classes beginning in 2023!

 

Can I order bread for one day/location but pick it up another day/location?

No. Bread must be picked at the location specified during the ordering process

 

Will you be offering a pickup location in Lynchburg?

Perhaps, but not at this time

 

How long will your bread last?

Because we use no additives or preservatives in our breads and pastries, they are best eaten when fresh (2-3 days).

 

Do you do special baked goods for the holidays?

Yes! We think about the time of year whenever we make our baking list. For example, pumpkin scones in fall, stollen for christmas, snowflake marshmallows in winter, irish soda bread for st patrick’s day, etc.

 

Do you make gluten-free breads? 

While there may be occasional bakes that are gluten-free, nearly all of our breads and baked goods contain gluten. 

 

How many breads are in your rotation? 

We have 35-40 breads that we have tested and approved. We will rotate those throughout the year. 

 

Are you going to open a storefront?

We do not have plans to open a brick and mortar store

 

Will there be a subscription option?

Maybe for 2023, but not currently

Why “Prism Baking?”

We chose Prism because we are inspired by the wonder of prisms. Plain, white light (ingredients) going in and beauty (breads and pastries) coming out. 

 

What if I am dissatisfied with my order?

We want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please reach out to us immediately so that we can resolve any issues. 

 

Do you take recommendations? 

Yes. We always enjoy expanding our baking repertoire. We also love to recreate family recipes that have been lost to time. Feel free to email us!
